Sydana Rogers Hollins, PhD, RAC, serves as Managing Director of Pre-Market Tobacco Applications and Marketing Compliance for Altria Client Services in Richmond, Va. In this role, she leads a team responsible for planning, coordinating and creating premarket applications for smoke-free products. The team works cross-functionally across the enterprise to develop the strategy for each application and following FDA authorization, supports regulatory compliance to maintain authorization under marketing orders.
Prior to this role, Dr. Rogers Hollins was Senior Director, Regulatory Sciences, where she led a team of more than 40 scientists focused on the development and application of innovative analytical methods to support new product development, tobacco product applications, regulatory compliance, and scientific engagement.
Dr. Rogers Hollins joined Altria in 2003 and has held various leadership positions in research and development prior to moving to Regulatory Affairs to lead a team responsible for preparing domestic and international product-related regulatory submissions. She previously served as Director of Pre-Market Tobacco Applications, where she led regulatory strategies fore-vapor products, interfaced with FDA, and advised internal stakeholders on regulatory authorization and compliance. Additionally, she also briefly worked in product development where she was responsible for creating regulatory and product strategy for potential future regulation.
Dr. Roger Hollins holds a PhD in Chemistry from Florida State University and a BS in Chemistry from Norfolk State University (NSU). She currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors for the Norfolk State University Foundation. Dr. Rogers Hollins also holds a Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) from the Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society.
