Carrie Freed is Senior Vice President and General Counsel at ITG Brands, LLC, a subsidiary of Imperial Brands PLC. In this role, she leads the company’s U.S. legal and regulatory functions, providing strategic guidance on regulatory compliance, commercial initiatives, and enterprise risk management while partnering closely with business leadership on transformation and growth priorities. With more than 20 years of experience, Carrie is known for her expertise in regulatory strategy, business-focused legal partnering, and team leadership. She has a proven track record of building high-performing teams and bringing a collaborative, commercially minded approach to complex legal and regulatory challenges. Prior to joining ITG Brands, Carrie held senior legal leadership roles at Philip Morris International and served as outside counsel to Altria, where she focused on product liability litigation. Carrie began her legal career with federal clerkships at the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. She earned her Juris Doctor from Washington and Lee University and her Bachelor of Arts from Wake Forest University, and is admitted to practice in Alabama, New York, Virginia, and before the Supreme Court of the United States.
